Enormous talent for analysis of a troubled soul and his tragicomic struggle to stand back on his feet after a breakdown and a voluntary institutionalization.However, after the first half the novel turned from sublime to somehow tiring for me. I felt some guilt because I couldn't pinpoint what was bothering me about it.     3. I liked this book because it was a book that was different than what I typically read and the plot was really exciting. I read a lot of books and I don't think that I have ever come across a book like this before. I wasn't sure what type of book this would be. From the description, it looked as though it might be a dark read with an unhappy ending. I was pleasantly surprised that the ending was not dark and the book was actually a fun, humorous read.
