    1. The Panama Affair rocks. Jeffrey Miller has written a realistically complex story against the backdrop of 1970s Panama. The characters are well-crafted and totally believable. Panama itself is vividly described and the use of real life situations and characters gives Miller’s novel the genuine ring of authenticity. Buy this book for the story, read this book for the writing. I can’t wait for Miller’s next outing.
